Prescribed amount
The amount of NAD ordered for one administration, usually expressed in milligrams. This is the treatment decision—not a number to copy from another patient.
Concentration
The amount of NAD contained in each milliliter of solution. Different vials can contain different concentrations even when they look similar.
Injection volume
The liquid volume drawn into the syringe. Volume is calculated from the prescribed amount and the concentration printed on your label.
Frequency
The schedule for administration. Follow the prescription exactly and contact the provider before changing it.

Confirm the label before every injection
A change in pharmacy, vial size, or concentration can change the volume required for the same prescribed amount. Never assume that markings used with a previous vial still apply.
If the written directions, vial label, and syringe markings do not make sense together, pause and contact the dispensing pharmacy or treating provider.
The relationship between the numbers
Milligrams and milliliters are not interchangeable
A prescription may describe the NAD amount in milligrams, while the syringe measures liquid volume in milliliters or units. Those measurements answer different questions. Milligrams describe how much NAD is prescribed. Milliliters describe how much liquid contains that amount at the concentration supplied by the pharmacy.
The concentration printed on the pharmacy label connects the two. For example, a label expressed as milligrams per milliliter tells you how much NAD is present in each milliliter of solution. Because concentrations can differ, the same prescribed amount can require a different liquid volume when the vial changes. This is why copied syringe markings, online dosing schedules, and advice from another patient are unsafe substitutes for your current written instructions.
Read the pharmacy label
Confirm the patient name, medication, concentration, storage directions, beyond-use information, and dispensing pharmacy.
Match the syringe
Use only the syringe type and markings your provider or pharmacy instructed you to use.
Check each refill
A refill can arrive with a different vial size or concentration. Re-read the directions instead of relying on memory.
Pause when unclear
If any number conflicts with another, do not calculate or inject until the provider or pharmacy clarifies it.
What determines a prescribed plan
NAD injection dosing should be individualized
A licensed clinician may consider health history, current medications, treatment goals, previous reactions, and other patient-specific factors before deciding whether to prescribe. The plan can also change based on tolerance, follow-up information, or a new medical concern. There is no single online dose that is appropriate for every person.

Before preparing an injection, compare the written directions with the current vial label. Confirm that you understand the prescribed amount, the vial concentration, the corresponding liquid volume, and the schedule. Inspect the medication and packaging as directed. If the medication appears damaged, altered, expired, improperly stored, or different from what you expected, contact the pharmacy before use.
Prepare only in the way demonstrated or described by the treating provider or dispensing pharmacy. Do not combine instructions from different websites, older prescriptions, or another product. Use the provider and pharmacy as your dosing resources
The treating provider is the right contact for questions about whether to continue, change, pause, or stop a prescribed plan. The dispensing pharmacy can clarify the vial label, concentration, storage requirements, supplied equipment, and preparation instructions. Depending on the question, one may direct you to the other.
Contact them promptly if the package arrived warm when refrigeration was expected, the seal appears damaged, the vial looks different, directions are missing, or the syringe markings do not match what was explained. Do not try to repair incomplete instructions with a general online calculator.
Keep the original label and written materials with the medication. When asking for help, have the vial and prescription directions available so the clinician or pharmacist can identify the exact product.
